Terms of Service

1. Who can use NaijaLoop

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you'll keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

3. Content you post

You own the threads, replies, listings, images, and other content you post ("User Content"). By posting it, you grant NaijaLoop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post whatever you share, and that it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights.

We use automated screening and human review to moderate content before and after it's published. We may remove content, or restrict an account, if it violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Where we reject or remove your content, you may appeal that decision.

4. Marketplace transactions

NaijaLoop provides the platform for members to list and discover products, services, and job postings. We are not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller, and we don't handle payment, delivery, or fulfilment for marketplace listings. You're responsible for evaluating listings, verifying sellers, and using reasonable care, including our safety recommendations in the Community Guidelines, before completing any transaction.

Seller ratings and verification badges (Verified Professional, CAC Verified) reflect credential checks or community feedback. They are not a guarantee of a seller's conduct or the quality of goods and services offered.

5. Premium subscriptions and billing

NaijaLoop offers optional paid plans ("Premium") that unlock additional features, such as visibility boosts, additional listing images, and business tools. Payments are processed by Paystack, and by subscribing you also agree to Paystack's applicable terms. Premium plans renew on the billing cycle shown at checkout until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that is fraudulent, harassing, hateful, or illegal;
• List counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods, or misrepresent what you're selling;
• Attempt to circumvent our moderation, verification, or reputation systems;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's normal operation;
• Use NaijaLoop to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.

7. Intellectual property

"NaijaLoop" and the NaijaLoop logo are trademarks of The One Folio Technologies (registration pending). The Service's design, software, and branding are owned by The One Folio Technologies or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

NaijaLoop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The One Folio Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses arising from marketplace transactions between members.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use NaijaLoop after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
