The leader Of Yoruba Nation agitation, Comrade Sunday Adeyemo, Popularly called Sunday Igboho, regained freedom on Monday 07/03/2022.
This comes after several months of illegal detention in Cotonou Benin Republic.
Mr Sunday was declared wanted after 2 failed assassination attempts by the Nigeria DSS.
The 49-year-old Yoruba Nation agitator decided to leave the Nigeria contraption to Europe.
He was apprehended at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou Benin Republic while on his way to Germany with his wife.
Mr. Sunday Adeyemo was illegally detained on the order of Nigeria security agents as they scrambled for frivolous charges to buy time.
However, after several months of illegal detention without charges, he was released in accordance with their law.
which states that no one can be detained for more than six months without charges.
Upon release, he was advised not to leave the country, for obvious security reasons.
Mr. Sunday Igboho took to his Instagram account to thank everyone who was there for him.
He encouraged & assured Biafrans who are also awaiting the release of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, of victory.
