The Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB loyalists quickly descended on a former New Media Director for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Deji Adeyanju, who revealed on his social media post that the greatest weakness of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was his love for money reacting to the re-surfacing of Kanu who was seen praying in Jerusalem, on Friday October 19, 2018.
A move which was not well received by many of Kanu’s loyal followers and non IPOB members.
Mr Adeyanju also hinted that Kanu’s reappearance may not be unconnected to the 2019 elections.
Further stating that the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu may be broke & needed
“to cash out majorly in this election period.”
“I hear Nnamdi Kanu is back again, I guess he wants to play a role in the 2019 elections.”
“My advice to him is simple: Don’t mess it up again this time around. He had a fantastic opportunity the last time and messed it up by calling on people to boycott Anambra polls.”
“If he comes again with his no election in Igbo land then we all know who he is working for.”
“The guy’s greatest weakness is his love for money. Ask any of the South East governors, they will confirm this. The guy loves money too much. Hope he proves many of us wrong this time.”
“The guy may be broke and needs to cash out majorly in this election period. One thing is very clear, Igbos have a major stake in this election.”
“I will not spare anyone who works against the possibility of an Igbo Vice President in 2019 and potential 2023 Presidency.”
Reaction was blazing fast as IPOB members swooped in mass to defend their leader while some rained aggressive comments on Adeyanju Deji who quickly realized that his earlier post had offended many South Easterners, not just IPOB members & immediately went on the defensive with subsequent damage control posts to calm down hot nerves .
“I love my brother Nnamdi Kanu very much and like I have always said, I wish him the best at all times. I hope and pray he makes the right decision this time.
“I always mean well even if I come across as though I don’t. Welcome back bro.”
and he continued to make his case where he called for Nnamdi Kanu’s release when he was locked up by the government.
“I was arrested and detained by this government for leading a protest calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and an end to his Secret Trail. Google is your friend.
But have also criticized him on several occasions whenever I feel he is wrong. TRUTH has no sides.”
