The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to the just concluded Nigeria general presidential election which was marred by violence.
The IPOB leader pointed the fact that Igbos were prevented from voting in various parts of the country most notably Lagos, Kano and Rivers while addressing the IPOB family unit in the UK.
“Our people were not allowed to vote on Saturday presidential election in Nigeria, those Igbos in Kano and Lagos states were not allowed to vote
“We have no knives, guns bombs the only thing we have is our unity and purpose, yet they try to stop us.
“You cannot do anything to us we are resolute and would not retreat or surrender no matter what.
“If you want to destroy us kill Me, any day we pick up arms to fight the zoo nobody will blame us
“The Zoo has started to collapse and there is nothing anyone can do to restore it,” kanu declared.
Here is a Video compilation of Eye witness accounts of the Nigeria 2019 general elections.
He also noted that the APC ruling party was happy initially when they learned about IPOB’s planned boycott which turned out to be a trap.
He also listed the reason why he ultimately lifted the boycott when he did. “i lifted the boycott when it was too late for them to do anything about it”
“Those that doubted us when we called Nigeria a ZOO will they doubt us again ? Have you seen how many people they killed ? “
“When we told them that the ZOO can not conduct elections, nobody wanted to believe us but it is now very clear for all to see that Nigeria is unworkable.
He continued to insist there was a conspiracy to keep Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani, the Buhari impersonator from Sudan in power.
Kanu revealed Akinola Aguda as the co-conspirator who made sure that none of the seaports in Biafra land was working.
Kanu while speaking narrated what transpired between him and the so called “Igbo elite” including Ohanaeze Ndigbo after he was released from Kuje prison.
Kanu listed demands to the “Igbo elites” to be taken to their masters in Abuja which included opening of the seaports, airports, building of roads and infrastructures throughout Biafra land which was not a difficult thing to ask. They refused and instead opted to have him killed.
He said the Nigeria was finished and there was nothing they could do about it. He maintained the ZOO was unworkable and that Biafra was the only option and light at the end of the tunnel for Africa.
He concluded he’ll never let Biafrans down and will keep agitating till Biafra was fully restored.
