In the latest IPOB Biafra news, the leader of the indigenous peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu in his first live interaction session with Biafrans all the world.
He urged people from all over the world to call in and ask him questions about his proposed boycott of the 2019 general elections.
However, before the Q&A session, The fearless freedom fighter spent an about an hour to explain the rational behind the decision, saying the boycott may not achieve immediate results in the short term but if successful, will have long term benefits.
The move will be a profound statement to the international community about Biafrans resolve to restore the sovereign nation of Biafra.
He blamed the Igbo political class including professor Soludo whom he accused of working with Obiano to re-elect Jubril Aminu.
He warned that even though Igbo were very hardworking and competitive, they are the most treacherous tribe and easy to flip more than the other tribes in Nigeria.
“How many Yoruba elders live in Biafra land, how many Hausa Fulani live in Biafra Land? It is only our people that believe that by living in Abuja or Lagos, they can remain relevant because they are slaves to their masters.
He pointed out that the Ohanaeze youths went to Abuja to see Jubril despite what they have done to Biafrans. The killings in Aba, Igweocha, and abductions, this people went to appease Jubril.
He said sabotage was very common with the Igbo political class and that’s it is the biggest challenge to the noble quest of Biafra restoration.
He accused the Igbo political class and south east governors of willing to do anything to please the Fulani for political relevance.
It was Dave Umahi who lead the Operation python dance 2 that left 28 Biafran youths dead. We can no longer allow this ravenous breed of politicians to represent Biafrans.
Nnamdi kanu promised to make sure those South East governors are not re-elected in their states even if it meant that they are voted out.
The Igbo political class have done nothing to protect our people from Fulani herdsmen ravaging farmlands, raping women and killing our men.
Radio Biafra then proceeded to play the clip of a woman who’s farm was ravaged by the Fulani cattle men. In the audio, the woman complained how Fulani herdsmen destroyed all her farm crops and that it wasn’t the first time.
“Have you ever heard Igbo governors rise up to condemn herdsmen or Fulani activities in our land? the answer is no.”
“They day our people can wake up to reason well enough to understand the damage the likes of Umahi is doing to our people, the sooner we can get rid of them from the corridors of power.
He warned the governors that they’ll face consequences if any Biafran is killed during this python dance.
He said that as long as they served the Fulani, they would come back in disgrace just like what is happening to Chief Justice of Nigerian, CJN, Walter Onnoghen who’s been forced out of office.
The IPOB leader also cleared the notion that he doesn’t keep to agreement as accused by Okezie Ikpeazu. He explained that they wanted him to maintain radio silence and if he had done that, people would think he had compromised.
They think I’m Ralph Uwazuruike, i was never going to let my people down or the great IPOB which i lead to become a toy for politicians as MASSOB has become.
“My bail conditions was a cleverly constructed trap designed to weaken the and destabilize IPOB which sadly had the imprints of internal Igbo political meddling.
“Had i maintained radio silence, people would think that i had compromised the struggle and not a man of my words.
He said that nobody could stop him from speaking. Kanu reaffirmed his earlier stance of election boycott saying that it was important to send a message to the international community.
we are fighting on principles and that’s enough for us Kanu stated.
He said any one who doubted the potency of election boycott should consider that Mahatma Gandhi in India boycotted the election that helped end the British rule in that country.
He also sighted New England in the US where the blacks boycotted the voting because other blacks else where weren’t allowed to vote and Nelson Mandela African national congress boycotted the election that later set the stage for the fall of the apartheid regime in South Africa.
However, he said IPOB was willing to back any politician(s) willing to meet his conditions saying that he’s willing to sacrifice more including his life to make sure Biafra was restored.
“we are reasonable people, we’re boycotting the elections because you have not met our demands, if you are prepared to meet our very reasonable demands, then we call off the boycott.
He said IPOB had sworn to boycott all Nigeria elections but the governorship election in Abia and Ebonyi would be an exception to that rule.
He promised to mobilize IPOB family to vote out traitors that called themselves governors just to make sure they don’t return to power.
The IPOB leader proceeded to open the lines of communication for Biafrans and anyone who’s interested in having a debate with him.
